Intergroup Liaison to District 5
We are currently looking for someone to be the Intergroup Liaison at the District 5 monthly business meeting. This person shares information between the Intergroup Representative (IGR) meeting and the District 5 business meeting.
District 5 business meetings are held every 3rd TUESDAY of the month at St. Nathaniel’s Episcopal Church, 4200 S Biscayne Dr, North Port, FL 34287 starting at 6:00 pm.
The IGR hybrid meeting is held every 3rd THURSDAY of the month at the Intergroup office and online. Click on the Events Calendar for details.
Qualifications: 1 years of sobriety, preferably an IGR or alternate IGR.
Term: minimum of 1 year, not to exceed two terms in any one position.

Intergroup Steering Committee
The IG SC meets monthly on the 1st Thursday of the month and handles the business of the Intergroup office. We are currently looking for:
- Member at Large
Qualifications: 5 years of sobriety + 1 year experience with Intergroup activities (recommended) for a minimum term of one year.
Term: minimum of 1 year, not to exceed two terms in any one position.

Daytime Phone Coordinator
This person recruits, trains, and supports volunteers to answer the AA Hotline during business hours, welcome visitors, and process bookstore sales. They manage the schedule for the daytime volunteers between the hours of 9-6pm, Mon-Fri.
Requirements: min 1 year term, 2 years of sobriety, and previous IG office experience

Tech Support
The Intergroup office is actively looking for some with technical and/or computer skills to help with the office equipment and computers. We need a tech-savvy person, from time to time, for issues with computers or peripheral equipment. 12th Step Call List
Request your name be added to our 12 Step call list for the city where you live. One-year sobriety requirement. Fill out our Volunteer Form.
Events Committee Volunteer
Intergroup sponsors several events throughout the year. There is usually an Old Timer’s Dinner in March, sometimes a Founder’s Day event in June and a Gratitude Dinner in November. If you are interested in helping, there are no sobriety requirements, just come to an Events Committee meeting held every 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Intergroup Office and online. Enthusiasm and new ideas are always welcomed!
