Alcoholics Anonymous’ General Service Office has a ton of information available to answer any questions you have about how things work in A.A. So a lot of the information posted here is really a link to www.aa.org website.
In South Florida, we are represented by:
- The local Intergroup office of District 5 is located in North Port.
- District 5 serves part of Sarasota county and Charlotte County including Arcadia, Boca Grande, Englewood, Fort Ogden, Grove City, Nokomis, Port Charlotte, North Port, Punta Gorda, Englewood , Venice, Warm Mineral Springs. General Service Representatives (GSR) represent each group at District meetings and at the Quaterly Area Assemblies.
- Area 15, which is divided into 21 geographic or language districts. Our Area 15 Delegate represents all the South Florida districts at the General Service Conference (GSC).
